Progressing with our opening scene

Me and Rob are over half way through creating our film opening where I am editing the sound/effects and Rob is editing the main footage on Premiere pro. We used a seperate more advanced over the shoulder microphone of a long stick for much better sound for the voices of the characters in our film opening. However this meant the files of the audio will be seperate from the video footage , so when we were putting the film together , I had to sync the audio with the video footage which is difficult getting it 100% precise.

Feedback from the audience about our opening sequence so far

We showed mine and Roberts film opening sequence to a group of year 12 media students in the class , they gave good feedback with likes and dislikes including :

Likes/outstanding well done parts:

• Good quality filming
• Strong tone of speech from characters
• Great violent acting
• Brilliant sound effects

Dislikes/improvements

• Smoother editing when changing shots
• Hard to see in the dark so maybe brighten up?
• Titles need to be added 
• Keep the plot simple , not too over complicated
