Adobe Premiere Pro Workshop

On the 24th November 2015 an ex student from the Kings School Ottery st. Mary called Sion Roe (a proffessional photographer based in Exeter) came into our media lesson to help us and give us tips/tricks on how to improve our introductions/ title sequences on our own films.

He showed us how to make titles and how to make them move around making them bigger/smaller etc.

The software we used and are currently using throughout our media course is Adobe Premiere Pro which is a very good and proffessional standard level of software which includes thousands of settings and effects to choose from to enhance our videos.

Steps Sion gave to us to apply a title in our clips:
  • Title
  • Effects
  • Keying
  • Track matte key ( put on the footage)
  • Effect controls - adjust capacity of titles/ poaition of titles
  • Add another clip in empty layer
  • Render
  • Change setting to 'screen'
  • Effect controls - motion - scale increase size
  • Split in half  add middle layer - opacity - video 2
  • You are now clearly able to see titles
A really useful website that Sion mentioned to us to get free effects , motion graphics and transitions of up to 4K resolutions is called http://rampantdesigntools.com/free-download-sign/
